LIP FILLERS
Your Best Lip Line
Clean edges - subtle volume
Why consider lip filler? To bring back what time or genetics kept modest: hydration, definition, and balance.
If your lips feel flat or dry, lipstick bleeds into fine lines, the Cupid’s bow looks faint, or small asymmetries steal focus, a tailored HA filler can restore soft volume, sharpen the border, and lift the lip’s light—without changing your character
Who it’s for
-
Lips that feel flat, dehydrated, or undefined
-
Desire for subtle volume or sharper shape (not a “built” look)
-
Small asymmetries or age-related thinning
-
Patients wanting adjustable, reversible treatment
Dr. Veber’s approach
-
Map first, inject second: analysis of tooth show, philtrum length, smile dynamics.
-
Right gel, right plane: silky, hydrating HA for the lip body; firmer, shaping HA for borders or pillars—micro-aliquots with needle or cannula for precision and safety.
-
Proportion over size: respect to facial balance, dental show, and profile; no “duck” or stiffness.
-
Options: pair with a subtle lip flip (Botox®) for extra eversion, or consider Lip Lift when structure (not volume) is the goal.
The treatment (simple & precise)
-
Duration: ~20–30 minutes
-
Comfort: topical anaesthetic; dental block if needed
-
Technique: micro-threads and micro-boluses to sculpt border, body, Cupid’s bow, and philtral columns
Recovery & longevity
-
Downtime: mild swelling/tenderness
24–48 h; small bruises possible (camouflage next day)
-
Results: immediate, settle over a few days
-
Duration: typically 6–12 months (varies by product, area, metabolism)
-
Maintenance: light touch-ups to keep the lips softly hydrated and defined
Results you can expect
-
Supple, hydrated lips with natural sheen
-
Cleaner edges & Cupid’s bow, subtle lift of vermilion
-
Balanced volume that moves with your smile
Safety & suitability
Temporary swelling/bruise are common; rare events (e.g., vascular compromise) are mitigated by anatomical mapping, conservative dosing, and cannula use where appropriate. Not performed during pregnancy/breastfeeding or with active infections. Full medical history is reviewed.
When a Lip Lift may be better
If the upper lip is long with minimal tooth show, a Lip Lift (structural change) may create a more elegant base; filler can then be used lightly for hydration and border refinement. See page
Why Dr. Veber recommends it
Done with precision and restraint, lip filler is a quiet enhancement—hydration, definition, and balance that look like you, only fresher.
