FACIAL FAT GRAFTING
Your own tissue, precisely placed for soft, lasting results
Natural volume—from you. A tiny amount of your own fat is gently collected, refined, and precisely placed where the face has thinned or hollowed —cheeks, temples, lips, and folds. It restores soft, believable fullness, smooths shadowed transitions, and boosts skin quality without the “filled” look. Social downtime is brief, results settle by around 3 months, and the improvement ages with you—because it’s yours.
Facial fat grafting (lipofilling) uses a patient’s own fat to restore fullness, refine contours, and subtly improve skin quality—delivering results that look and feel authentic.
What it improves
-
Hollows in the cheeks, temples, tear-trough/under-eye (select cases)
-
Deep folds (nasolabial, marionette) and shadowed contours
-
Lips needing soft, elegant fullness
-
Overall texture/quality - skin often appears smoother and better hydrated over time
A two-step procedure
Total time: 1 h 30 to 3 hours under general anesthesia or local with sedation, depending on the plan.
-
Micro-harvest – gentle, small-volume liposuction
-
Purification – refining the graft for high-quality cells
-
Micro-injection – precise placement with fine cannulas in layered planes to sculpt natural contours
Outpatient care
The procedure is performed on an ambulatory basis with same-day discharge.
A gentle recovery
-
Swelling/bruising: typically 7–10 days
-
Social return: usually 1–2 weeks
-
Final assessment: around 3 months, once the transferred fat stabilizes
Longevity & touch-ups
A portion of transferred tissue integrates long-term. Because each face and graft take are unique, a second, smaller session can be planned to fine-tune symmetry or add fullness.
Results you can expect
-
Softer, fuller contours that look and feel like you
-
Rebalanced light and shadow for a fresher, less tired appearance
-
Natural texture benefits as the area hydrates and matures with your own tissue
Who is a good candidate?
-
Noticeable facial hollowing or volume loss
-
Preference for autologous (your-own) tissue over synthetic products
-
Stable weight, good health, and realistic goals
Combinations that work well
-
Botox® for dynamic lines - See page
-
Collagen inducers (CaHA/PLLA) for skin density/support - See page
-
Chemical Peels - See page
-
SuperSkinFacial for tone and glow - See page
-
Lip lift / PDO threads when structural lift or lip proportion is the priority - See page
Safety & notes
Temporary swelling/bruise are common; asymmetry or partial resorption can occur and are addressed at review. As with any procedure, rare risks exist and are discussed during consultation. Because it uses your own tissue, reactions are uncommon.
